This book is well organized with excellent diagrams BUT I was very disappointed to find 2 mistakes in the Visual pathway lesions diagram on, you can correct it though. its on page 223 Figure 16.2. number 3 (Bitemporal Hemianopia) and 4 (Right Hemianopia) have there corresponding visual field diagram as number 2 (Binasal Hemianaopia).
The strange/funny thing about this is that the Diagram is correct in the 2008 HY neuroanatomy which is even cheaper! you can even check for the authors name to see the bigger surprise!
A mistake in a book is not a problem. the problem is that the author of any review book specially for an exam like the USMLE should make the student / reader confident about the validity of the information in the book.
I kindly request from those responsible for the book contents to make an errata as soon as possible. Just like the First Aid team did.
I wanna feel confident when I read BRS neuroanatomy. and be please or the value I get.

BRS neuroanatomy is a solid, quick review book. For the purposes of step 1 study it has a bit too much detail, but is a quick read. The figures and tables do an excellent job of condensing information. The questions however are extremely simple and serve only as tools to test memory and not understanding.
